CSOs also provide technical and financial support to local governments for developing their capacity on managing the nutrition-related program in their areas. Activities
Some of the activities carried out by civil society organizations include:
- Organize nutrition and health training such as early initiation of breastfeeding, exclusive breastfeeding, complementary feeding, supportive environment for infant and toddler feeding and food security.
- Provide clean water and sanitation facilities.
- Provide supplementation of vitamin A, iron supplement, and food fortification.
- Training on the importance of the first 1000 days of life for religious leaders.
- Nutrition and health education.
